Parterre Garden

An old Louisiana syrup kettle is located on the site of one of the two huge cisterns that serviced the plantation home.  The massive kettle serves as the centerpiece for a formal herb garden.

Ruins Garden

This garden was created of old bricks from the original Pre-Civil War home.  Plants are found among the bricks, as well as artifacts found in the ruins of house.  The fountain in the garden features an old sharpening stone from the plantation blacksmith shop.
